During my countless bus and train rides, I usually listen to meaningful videos by Dr. K, Cal Newport, Eckhart Tolle, and others.
Partly because I can easily create thumbnails or do copy tasks while listening, and partly because I’m sensitive to noise – it’s much better for me to focus on something intentional than to be at the mercy of random sounds around me.
In the video I just listened to
Video: I watch your videos but never change my life by HealthyGamerGG
Dr. K explains that real change happens in stillness. We truly change when we pause and reflect – not while we’re listening, but afterward, when we’re quiet and digest what we’ve heard.
Normally, I would have nodded internally and moved on to the next video.
But on the screenshot you can see what happened this time:
YouTube suddenly stopped the autoplay – which almost never happens for me as a Premium user.

How symbolic that it happened with this particular video.
So now I’m actually reflecting on what I heard and thinking about how to apply it in my own life.
And what’s the result of that reflection?
Very clear – and perfectly fitting for me:
Whenever I’ve listened to a video that taught me something, I’ll write down what I’ve gained from it – and share it.
Do you do that too?
Which video or blog post made you stop and think today – and what did you learn from it?
