What is the Dreamy Tiny House Diary?
Since August, I’ve been living in a Tiny House.
Or more precisely: I’m trying to build a new home for myself with a Tiny House.
Legally, a Tiny House is not considered a residential building if certain requirements are missing. My Tiny House has no permanently installed bathroom, no kitchen, no fixed heating system, and no ceiling height above 2.10 m. That is exactly why finding a suitable plot of land is not easy at all. The search for a place where living is truly possible accompanies my everyday life – and therefore also this diary.
At the same time, I still live in my car from time to time. Not as continuously as during the seven years before, but still regularly. I write about that too: about nights on the road, about transitions, about being in between, about freedom, calm – and sometimes exhaustion.
My diary also tells the story of my life as an author, tutor, and blogger. It’s about work, planning, structure, doubts, motivation, and about trying to handle my projects in a realistic and healthy way. Added to that are my hobbies and breaks: hiking, walks along rivers and streams, exhibitions, thermal baths, traveling, bouldering, swimming in nature. All of this is part of my everyday life – just like writing, learning, and thinking.
This diary is not a retrospective and not a curated collection of memories.
I write a new diary entry every single day.
Concretely, that means:
On January 2, I write about January 1.
On January 3, I write about January 2.
This creates a continuous diary, day by day. Almost like an advent calendar where a new little door opens every morning. You experience my life step by step – with all moods, thoughts, decisions, and changes.
This diary is not a perfect product. It is a living process.
A real life in transition – between Tiny House, car, shared apartment, work, nature, and the search for a sustainable everyday life.
How and where the diary is published
The Dreamy Tiny House Diary is published as a text edition and released monthly.
Each monthly edition contains all 30 or 31 diary entries of a complete month.
The diary is available in six languages. Each language version stands on its own and is carefully maintained. These are not short excerpts, but complete monthly documents.
Text edition as a subscription on Patreon
On Patreon, you can read the diary as an ongoing subscription.
You receive the current text edition every month and can follow the diary continuously.
Text edition in the shop (subscription & single issues)
The diary is also available as a text edition in the shop.
Each month of the year 2026 is set up there as a separate variant of one product.
That means:
If you want to read the entire year, you select all twelve monthly variants.
If you only want to read individual months, you can choose them selectively.
This keeps the diary flexible and accessible for different life situations.
The complementary photo diary
In addition to the text edition, there is a separate photo diary.
Text and photos are deliberately kept separate.
The photo diary contains no text, only images. It visually complements the text editions without repeating them. This separation ensures clarity, lower data volume, and a calm working rhythm.
All photos in the photo diary are labeled with the date of the experience.
This makes it easy to orient yourself and see exactly which day the images belong to.
The text diary and the photo diary are designed so that you can use them in parallel – for example in two windows or on two devices. That way, you can calmly read the diary entry while simultaneously viewing the photos of the same day.
The photos are published with a five-month delay.
The reason for this is my safety and privacy. I lived in my car for seven years and traveled alone. During that time, I had two stalkers and several very unsettling encounters. I don’t want to risk someone being able to reconstruct my current location based on recent images, especially when I stay in one area for a longer time or am alone in nature. Thank you for your understanding.
