After more than six years, my magazine is receiving a new name for the second time. “Dreamy Tiny House Diary” is becoming “Monas Munich Mosaic.” In this article, I’ll explain why I decided to make this change, what topics you can look forward to in the future, and how the text diary and photo diary complement each other.
A New Chapter Begins
Since the autumn of 2019, my magazine has accompanied me through many different stages of my life.
During its first years, it was called “Hiking Guide – Inns by the Water.” At that time, the focus was mainly on hiking trails, restaurants and excursion destinations.
In July 2025, it became the “Dreamy Tiny House Diary.” The focus shifted to my life in a tiny house, my life in my car, my travels and my everyday experiences.
Now it is time for a second name change.
As I will be moving to Munich in August 2026 and my tiny house will not be with me for some time, my magazine will now be called “Monas Munich Mosaic.”
July 2026 is a special transition month. I will spend most of it living in my car once again before beginning my new life in Munich at the beginning of August.
The new name is intentionally broader. The focus is no longer on one particular way of living but on the colorful mosaic of my life—faith, learning, relaxation, nature, happiness, and the many small moments that make every day unique.
Why “Mosaic”?
A mosaic is made up of many small pieces. Only together do they create a complete picture.
That is exactly how I see my life.
Every walk, every hike, every encounter, every choir rehearsal, every lesson, every prayer, every sunset and every little discovery is one individual piece of the mosaic.
Together, all these small experiences tell my story.
What Does “Monas Munich Mosaic” Stand For?
Although the name has changed, the themes that shape my life remain the same.

Why Bavaria?
Bavaria is my home, and Munich will become the center of my new life.
I love the mountains, the lakes, the rivers, and especially the crystal-clear mountain streams where I enjoy swimming all year round.
Walking and hiking give me peace and renewed energy.
I also enjoy visiting botanical gardens, churches, exhibitions, theaters, historical sites, charming cafés and many other special places.
All of these experiences will continue to become part of my Munich Mosaic.
Text Diary or Photo Diary?
Even with the new name, there will continue to be two complementary editions.
The Text Diary
A new text diary is published every month.
It contains detailed diary entries about my experiences, thoughts, encounters and projects throughout the month.
All entries are published in a table in six languages: German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian. This makes the diary not only enjoyable to read but also a practical resource for language learners.
Anyone who owns the current monthly edition can read each diary entry just one day after the actual event, making it possible to follow my everyday life almost in real time.
The Photo Diary
The photo diary is published five months later.
It contains all photographs from the corresponding month, but no text. This allows the same photo diary to be used together with any of the six language versions of the text diary.
Whether it is sunsets, mountain streams, lakes, hikes, places of interest, churches, botanical gardens, my car, everyday shopping, my new life in Munich or many other small and memorable experiences, every photograph tells part of my story and complements the text diary in its own unique way.
The Bundle
If you would like to experience my life both through detailed stories and through photographs, you can choose the bundle.
It includes both the text diary and the photo diary at a lower price than purchasing both editions separately.
Together, they create a complete mosaic of words, pictures and memories.

Every edition of Monas Munich Mosaic will also conclude with a short daily prayer of gratitude. Through these prayers, I hope to encourage us to focus on the countless small blessings we can be thankful for each day.
