Today marks the beginning of something new.
After six complete years of the “Hosts by the Water Hiking Guide” (HWHG), my monthly project is receiving a new name and a new direction:
From HWHG to DTD – A Change of Name and Content in the Seventh Year of the Online Magazine
From today on, the magazine officially carries its new title:
Dreamy Tiny House Diary — or simply: DTD
This new name reflects my current life much more accurately — my tiny house, my daily routines, my thoughts, my paths, and all the small and big moments that shape my days.
While the old hiking guide was organised into fixed categories, the DTD now follows the real flow of my day — just as it happens.
🌿 What’s New Starting Today (1 December 2025)
🌱 1. New Name: From “Hiking Guide” to “Dreamy Tiny House Diary”
This change mirrors my present life.
I’ve been living in my tiny house since August 2025, and the everyday impressions that used to be just a small part of the magazine now become the core of it.
🌱 2. No More Categories — Instead, Real Chronology
The strict categorisation of the old HWHG required a lot of additional work.
The new DTD tells each day in its natural order:
- tiny-house everyday life
- daily routines
- tea & cappuccino moments
- dreamy experiences
- walks and hikes
- daily meals
- daily reflections
- triumphant moments
Photos now follow the same structure — chronologically, not thematically.
This saves significant design time and shows each day more authentically.
🌱 3. The Transition Begins Today — Soft and Easy to Follow
The December issue is the second issue of the 7th year,
but the first one that already incorporates the new style.
It’s a gentle transition: familiar elements combined with the first steps into the new direction.
📘 Looking Back: What Stays the Same?
- monthly issues
- personal diary entries
- walks and small trips (still included, but within the natural flow of the day)
- authentic insights into daily life
- photos — simply sorted differently
Just as important:
The six full years (Nov 2019 – Oct 2025) of the former HWHG will soon be available in the shop as yearly collections —
each containing 12 PDFs, German only, in the original design.
🌍 And Now the Big News:
Starting 1 January 2026, the Diary Will Be Published in Six Languages
Beginning with the
3rd issue of the 7th year (01 January 2026),
the Dreamy Tiny House Diary will appear in six languages:
🇩🇪 German
🇬🇧 English
🇫🇷 French
🇪🇸 Spanish
🇮🇹 Italian
🇷🇺 Russian
Release schedule:
- first on Patreon
- two months later on polyglotmona.com
Switching from categories to a chronological format is essential —
it’s the only realistic way to produce the DTD in six languages every month.
